Writing gets people talking and reading gets people thinking. There’s nothing like a book to provoke imagination and deep thought into the picture drawn out by words. The imagination is one of our most effective tools in shaping our lives. Without it, there would be no proactive people, only reactive people. The power of words in their written form allow the reader to take the information and apply it based on their own experiences and understanding.
I started writing my first book after being motivated to action by a book I read. The concepts and understanding relayed to me lead me to encourage others not only to read but to take action on the thoughts and theories in their mind. A thought left in the brain without action is like an athlete visualizing the winning goal but not actually taking the shot, just thinking about it. Thoughts are no good unless they are followed through with action behind it.
With the technology available to use today there are no excuses not to be heard, express ourselves and get our message out. There were always avenues but not like we have them today. We don’t have to send a messenger to run a message to another city. We don’t have to ride a horse across counties or even walk to the newspaper office to be heard. Being heard is literally at our fingertips from anywhere we are.
The best way to be heard is to be passionate about something, understand your passion, organize your thoughts and express it to who needs to hear.
